I had something pretty embarrassing/funny happen to me this week. First of all, after living in New York for 2.5 years now, my once fairly thick southern accent is gone. I do have my moments where it comes back but for the most part it no longer exists. I do miss it though!
Back to the embarrassing/funny story. I was up late last Sunday night/Monday morning trying to cram for my Anatomy and Physiology II test. I turned on my T.V. and was flipping channels when I came across Great American Country Television (GACTV). Not only had I found a country music televison channel, but it happend to be the Sunday night Tim McGraw video hour!
Now comes the embarrassing part-I knew all the words! I sat in my bed and sang along with Tim for the whole hour! The next thing I know my southern accent had reappeard. Needless to say, when I arrived to school on Monday, I confused alot of people.
